The Japanese Government expresses its desire to have no conflict with the DPRK DL. In line with our long standing foreign policy of promoting world peace and harmony, the government reaffirms its support for a nuclear free DPRK.
Japan expresses its extreme happiness over the DPRK's recent decision to release all Japanese naval hostages to Russia which will ultimately come home to Japan. This act of goodwill can act to improve the regional security situation and promote harmony between the peoples of Japan and the DPRK. Japan extends it deepest thanks to the EU and Russia for their incredible diplomatic support during negotiations.
