Russia Federation Post Round I

Moscow - Russia Federation continues to monitor the situation in the DPRK. As a permanent member of the UN Security Council, Russia Federation currently supports mediation between the DPRK factions within the framework of the UN. Russia Federation has increased its military presence, including an MVD brigade, on its border with the DPRK in order to maintain security and stability in the region. Russian Federation also looks forward to an enhanced alternative security dialog with the EU in regards to global security and border co-operation with China.
